Re: if mobile ask confirm before each actions

The owners have made it quite clear that If you are using a mobile device or tablet you are not taking gaming seriously enough to be welcome here. Go someplace else.

Re: Have option for disallowing undo in turn based

I guess I can see your reasoning then, if you see games as a form of punitive object lesson instead of a pleasant pastime. I hadn't looked at them quite that way before. As such I can see your point that if the gameplay drags a bit due to the lack of button, it is irrelevant as long as the important...

Re: undo / confirm button

I don't ask for a confirm button everywhere, but in several games it would make sense in turn based mode! more than just turn based it would seem. there are already confirm buttons, of a sort, in use in live games. Puerto Rico has one to confirm you are finished with certain actions. Somehow it did...

Re: Have option for disallowing undo in turn based

Please have an option that when creating a game can either completely disallow undo or limit it to the last action, rather than last whole turn. just curious, but what good would that do in turn-based games? other than preventing people from using tablets to play, or trying to gain an unfair out-of...

Re: undo / confirm button

The idea of cancel or confirm button can't work. It means each move has to be confirmed 2 times. It s a pain to play this way and a waste of time. It seems better to me if the player learns to focus and play correctly. No, it means a player needs to confirm -all- moves made during a turn one time a...

Re: undo / confirm button

there have been endless threads about this already, and the conclusion was pretty much that whomever runs the site feels strongly that confirm buttons are evil, regardless of the context, regardless of their absence slowing/disrupting gameplay. i think the general consensus is to simply to reserve B...

1) go to "http://www.boardgaming-online.com"
2) start a game of Through the Ages
3) When territory appears for bid, select from supplied list of legal bid amounts provided by convenient drop-down list.

Re: Through the ages

Following the same line as the undo for realtime mode, there should be an undo or confirm for unit bids. I've just now screwed a game cause was playing on my mobile and accidentally bid 22 for a territory instead of 6... There is not a way to actually successfully complete a game here one way or th...

Re: Thumbs Down

I'm pretty sure I just got my only red thumb from an abusive player I reported, who only has the one red thumb from me (no green, has only played four games) and has been made Devilkin for conduct. Is there a way to clear the red thumb, say, if that player ends up getting permanently banned, or is ...

Re: Through the ages

This game absolutely needs an, "Undo last turn" option. It's too long, complicated, and interwoven of a game to always realize that some move that you're doing is going to really mess up your game or lose on a simple mis-click. I like the conception of doing this at BGA and I like the liv...
