PHP2Shell?

As I use BGA every day, I was wondering whether it uses PHP and whether it has been patched to address the PHP2Shell exploits which are said to put 70% of websites at risk.

Re: Will any action be taken against blatant cheating for the recent Arena Season?

I don't play Arena as It's just 2-player games, right? If people are using stooge accounts to help manipulate their ranking, this sounds like a lot of work. Why are players going to such lengths? What does winning Arena get you? There aren't any prizes, are there? And the bragging rights seem limite...

Re: Pass button

The good news is that I still won the game despite having lost most of a turn!

Re: Remove Napolean from 1v1 or add Bans

Napoleon was amended in the expansion so that he gives one military action rather than 2. This is an official change to the card and so that might be acceptable to BGA. Other cards which were rebalanced were: Colossus, Hanging Gardens, Hammurabi, Julies Caesar, Michelangelo, St. Peter’s Basilica, Wi...

Re: Why do people play this game without draft?

Well, at the risk of speaking sacrilegiously, I don't think the designer (Jacob) understood the game all that well. He would absolutely get clobbered by any competent player. So, the argument "This isn't what Jacob intended" doesn't hold much value to me. I have yet to play a game designe...

Re: Why do people play this game without draft?

I don't like draft because: * it does not seem thematic for competing corporations to pass ideas to their rivals * It especially does not seem thematic for corporations to be forced to pass good ideas to their rivals. I really hate when I get dealt several good cards and have to pass most of them to...

Re: player board highlight request

I agree that the icons are too small but they are colour-coded so you can go by the overall colour. For example, Pink=Silk.

Pass button

I was puzzled that I didn't get any viking actions on turn 2 in a game just now. (table 862782692). Now we're on to turn 3, I see that there's a pass button which forfeits all remaining actions and I suppose that I must have clicked this in error somehow. This is a silly option as I can't see why pl...

Re: Scythe: Forge Your Legacy

1. The theme is a weird mashup of 1920s history, mechs from another era and talking animals This is funny because the alt history theme with seemingly anachronistic mechs is exactly what is appealing to many people about Scythe. Playing the physical game so you're actually manipulating the minis is...

Re: Scythe: Forge Your Legacy

I have no experience of playing Scythe and so tried it without any preconceptions. My main impressions were negative for the following reasons: 1. The theme is a weird mashup of 1920s history, mechs from another era and talking animals that remind me most of the Golden Compass. It was unconvincing a...
