Bonjour,
De grands changements OL modernisent notre jeu favori (et c'est tant mieux! ) En avril 2023, fini le OL M44 de DOW et basculement vers BGA. Donc, comme beaucoup d'entre vous , je voudrais connaitre le devenir de MEMOIR'44 EDITOR .Cette application permettant de créer nos propres scénarios sera t'elle toujours opérationnelle ? Je l'espère et le souhaite.
Est -ce que nous pourrions avoir une réponse officielle de DOW ou de BGA ?

C'est l'outil de prod de DoW donc pas de raison que ça change.

I was nervous about the same thing, so I hope you're right Tisaac!

There are some strange little missing elements in the Editor, though - for instance there are no Japanese Engineers (there's the badge, but it's not possible to make them "Special units: Engineers - so they don't work when used online). There's also a lack of different types of rivers, and probably things.

So a follow up question: Could you guys here at BGA still implement stuff that are "missing" in the editor?

Sorry - I hadn't seen the correction for fordable rivers - it seems they have simplified it since OG Air Pack.

Good to hear! Not that the MM44 Editor is great... it has it's MANY issues too, but it is better than nothing!

I hope the process of selecting From the front games gets less buggy and the process is improved quite a bit (backwards UI... scenario selection should happen before posting the game, and other player currently randomly has to pick the MM44 file instead). I have submitted this to the bug/suggestions.

The game is improving, but there are still a lot of rough edges and bugs. I hope there can be more engineering focus on polishing the user experience and looking at the game as a release product, instead of "good enough, not a bug"!

There are not that many bugs at all compared to the number of thing supported. And no the general process wont change, it's simply not possible to do otherwise in bga framework, we have to use the bga lobby as for any other game on the platform. About the m44 file, any of the players can upload it, no bug here .
As announced several times, the future of this "product" depends on the audience so please keep playing if you want more things added

Bonjour, je reviens sur le thème de l'éditeur de scénario qui ne fonctionne pas du tout en mode expert quand on est sur le plateau BT . Je crois être dans le désert avec Moïse car malgré les messages envoyés vers DOW depuis le mois de décembre, il ne se passe rien.
Est-ce que quelqu'un de la communauté M44 aurait un début d'information pour les contacter ? ou (autant demander un miracle) un développeur pourrait nous expliquer pourquoi cela ne fonctionne pas?
Bref, cela me contrarie grandement en tant que joueur M44 de voir que ce qui était vraiment top il y a une dizaine d'années avec cet éditeur de scénario (idée fabuleuse), cela soit devenu une ruine .

Hello, I'm back to the topic of the scenario editor not working at all in expert mode when on the BT board. I feel like I'm in the desert with Moses because despite the messages sent to DOW since December, nothing is happening.
Does anyone in the M44 community have any information on how to contact them? Or (asking for a miracle) could a developer explain why it doesn't work?
In short, as an M44 player, it greatly annoys me to see that what was really great a decade ago with this scenario editor (fabulous idea), has become a ruin.
