Not enough. People still join games they won't be able to play because they don't care about the settings, maybe not many, but one slow user is enough to ruin a table. Karma penalties and red thumbs only help a little. A more visible warning (especially when the playing hours don't match your usage pattern), and closing the table for joining outside the playing hours would be more helpful, in my opinion.

Agree. This is why we made playing hours bigger in new lobby.

We do have limits for "not many games": it depends both on karma and experience. So to play many many games at once, you need a very good reputation and you need to play a lot of turn based games.

And for different timezones, we already have this :)

On my screen, those 'very visible' things you have highlighted are only visible at all if I scroll down. I AM careful not to join a game in a 'wrong' timezone, but I don't think all the newer players the new interface was designed for always check.

I definitely think a check box before the faster games would be helpful with a reminder of the time zones. I've been stuck in so many "fast" games that just don't move recently, I've started leaving them, not ideal but I only like to play one game of each boardgame at a time. I get notifications for games that I've completely forgotten I'm playing sometimes

What you show me Souris du desert is only when you create a game, I have never seen that when you do "play / jouer " and want to join a game done by someone else (and may be the system is too dificult to understand, at first I did not understand anything myself)

And you can write it, put it in highlights, if people don't care, they don't care. The only way is that they can't join, not just to show them it is a fast game.

Checking a box can be a good idea first, and if people have been ejected from too many games, to prevent them to join. Sorry to say that but I think like that peolple will care more about not beeing ejected from a game.

I agree someting needs to be done. Some people are joinning randomly and slow games because they did not realize they are in the wrong time-zone. This is realy anoying.

The person who sets the game should be allowed to ask that people are in the right time zone(s) before starting. A check box could be useful, but a better feature would be to have a time-zone setting in the game setting such as "+/- n hours from my time zone" where n is a variable that can be set (when n=12 everybody time zone is eligible) and no people outside of this range should be allowed to join the game.
