Thank you all for sharing your scores. Good luck with future attempts.

Definitely gonna give it another shot!
The PI start is tempting, but gets HH off to a slow research start and a weaker long-term economy. The highest scores will probably come from an Academy start (11o+14c) and the PI built later.

Overall the map is so bad for hadsh halla, that already the starting position felt to me like I only had one good space for my mine.
With experience it becomes easier to anticipate the automa's potential next moves by looking a the left-hand side of its last card, such as seeing the range or direction of a build or power/qic action. Yes, the map could be more friendly - but that's part of the challenge! Your second game question is interesting: there are lots of scoring advanced techs, but what's the best combination of tracks? Having the 'Automa of the month' means players can try and compare the different approaches.

Score list updated. I don't think there's ever been such a varied provisional elite after the first five games posted :D .

Great score! But, sorry, you've done it on the Random map, not the Fixed one. This month's challenge was a more difficult choice than some as the cluster of three reds on the Random map is very interesting, for example.

Yeah I'll probably try that next time. Research was definitely my weak suit in that game :D

First try:
kespie 214 vs 136 Automa - https://boardgamearena.com/10/gaiaproje ... =403788614 - Ac+2M opening (grabbing the blue planet), fed in round 2, prioritized nav then terra

I already missed 7 points by passing one turn too late in round 5, thereby giving away the 4vp/PIAc booster. And of course there's a lot more to improve, so 240+ should be quite doable. Science track is probably the way to go, as it is often with these 1p challenges, but especially now that there's 20vp on top.

In general with Hadsch Hallas: I almost never go for the PI with except in round 5 or 6 if there are points for large buildings. The coin conversion has really limited value in my opinion.

First try during work:

Jonash87cz 180 vs Automa 145

Academy R2, PI R3. Economy, then terraforming.

Jowbo 234 - Automa 148. Minmaxed my score a bit. Still lost atleast 12 points by not having most sattelites.

Meebs 146 vs Automa 123 - https://boardgamearena.com/4/gaiaprojec ... =404048540 - I focused on the tech track and scoring on booster tiles
