The PI start is tempting, but gets HH off to a slow research start and a weaker long-term economy. The highest scores will probably come from an Academy start (11o+14c) and the PI built later.
With experience it becomes easier to anticipate the automa's potential next moves by looking a the left-hand side of its last card, such as seeing the range or direction of a build or power/qic action. Yes, the map could be more friendly - but that's part of the challenge! Your second game question is interesting: there are lots of scoring advanced techs, but what's the best combination of tracks? Having the 'Automa of the month' means players can try and compare the different approaches.Chessmaster_Hex wrote: ↑03 August 2023, 11:26 First Automa Game for me too, I guess I should read up the rules on how it acts![]()
Overall the map is so bad for hadsh halla, that already the starting position felt to me like I only had one good space for my mine.
