The most popular games are restricted to premium play where people deliberately start 1v1 tables to bully other players much below their skill level. I have the choice to either wait hours to play a board game in my free time against people in my skill level or play someone now when I have the time that is going to absolutely demolish me. Their are no tables I can match with where people don't abuse gaming mechanics I can't even begin to understand that have literal thousands of games put under their belts for something that only released a few months ago. This doesn't feel fun to me and I don't feel like I l learn anything as these same people often ignore questions or give basic advice. That anyone who is already playing understands. "You should try to get a higher score." I've had multiple people say those exact words to me. I try to have fun despite it but often I'm so willfully matched against my opponents that it just feels like I was put their to get beat up

There's an easy solution. Get Premium, set up your own table where you restrict the table to players with low ELO/experience.

honestly, the subscription to BGA is really cheap and you can play the games that you want with it

Azul RT-TB in Dec. 2023: 481667 - 34661 (93.3% - 6.7%)

There are even more extreme examples:

The number of ongoing games cannot represent the number of all tables.

This is rather interesting. After doing the #s for azul that is almost 11 games per min. I had to check this out for myself because I didn't recall that many games being played of azul whenever I looked in lobby. Just simply waiting in lobby you won't see all this activity (you will if you click tables I cant join) but in the few mins I looked it was on par w/ the averages. About 95% of the games never appeared in lobby so they were either auto joins and table filled immediately or invites. I'm jealous of azul players A lot of the games I play don't get a fraction of this traffic.

Are these stats only visible to devs?

ufm, who I quoted, cited relative stats about Ark Nova, Catan, Wingspan, and Azul, but I don't see ufm listed as a dev on any of those. So to clarify, are the types of stats cited in the ufm post I quoted visible to all devs, but not users in general?
