That's what the turn timer is for. People are allowed to use their full timer on their turn, and the undo button doesn't add any extra time. If they want to spend that time visualizing, or spend that time clicking the pieces to see what would happen, that doesn't ultimately change the game.
Undo exists because misclicks happen. The only argument I could see for getting rid of it is if someone wants to win by their opponent making misplays, instead of by making better plays. If that is your preference BGA isn't going to change their undo settings to accommodate.
