Sorry guys I haven't been checking forums for a while so let me answer some of the questions now.

The delay has nothing to do with the publishers, Feuerland gave the green light on this pretty much instantly and are waiting for the game as much as you and I.

Norwegians hit Alpha in January and has been ready for Beta since May. But I cannot move things alone, I need support from BGA to make it happen. What we need is to go Beta since we already have 100+ approvals from Alpha testers but unfortunately Affo Norwegians appears to be fairly low priority for the BGA team so I'm essentially on stand-by waiting for them.

I put hundreds of hours in this so I'm determined to follow through but I cannot make any promises on the timeline.

That's great news! While a five month delay is excruciating, it's so much better than what I was anticipating!

If there's anywhere we can leave feedback or make a request for the BGA team to prioritize this and get things moving again, let us know.

Can I give BGA money for this? My #1 want along with Fields of Arle.

I have a lot done on Fields of Arle, but if it happens it's going to be next year at the earliest.

That's great! Don't worry about pace. The arc of time is long.

We will wait like a child for Christmas eve, hope BGA makes this happen soon.

Norwegians as a christmas present - that would be so great! Thanks for all the work you put into this.

Add on the Christmas tiles mini-expansion if that’s the actual release window.

Personally I hope they don't - That Christmas tree and sled is so silly

The skates are nice, as an extra zero cost tile makes a knarr more viable in early rounds. Even in Norwegians, people rush whaling ships and longships, but not knarrs, because the 3 Viking special sale action doesn’t see much use until midgame currently. With the skates, it’s easier to take away two tiles in the special sale action in early rounds.

The skis are a really interesting shape and fun to puzzle with on all the boards. The sleigh is even more exciting to puzzle with, as it fits uncommonly well on certain exploration boards and it is fun to figure out where those special placements are. I’m surprised you don’t like the sleigh.

The table and tree are my least favorite pieces in that mini expansion. The table is almost always taken in endgame rounds though, just not by me. The tree is a poor value for the special sale (7 cost for 13 coverage), but sometimes it makes sense when rushing the home board.

An image of the tiles is through this link for those who are unfamiliar with this mini expansion: https://boardgamegeek.com/image/3816662 ... cial-tiles
