no way
snow in france this morning
unusual in november
and we are not canadians

anyway, i request that the system offer a turn to turn switch , not only and immediatly expelling

many Players even dont know they can switch to turn by turn when a player is late or disconnected
Your opponents came for a real-time game you accepted, not turn-based. They already have an option to offer it, but they are not forced to go there. Like I said earlier, something unexpected drops 1 game, that's not going to affect your reputation very much.

Additionally, some newer players are limited in the number of turn-based games they can have running. Let's say they choose a real-time game, and the person disappears and DOESN'T come back (ever), now they have to have a game taking up a space in their turn-based queue that they have to wait (probably) several days to boot this player who doesn't come back. If they then try and start more RT games and it happens again, now their tables are taken up with games that they didn't want as turn-based in the first place.

If your area is subject to power outages when it snows, then choose turn-based play when it snows. I don't get snow, but we do get severe storms sometimes, and power outages can happen from those as well. I wouldn't choose to start a RT game if it was storming or about to. In fact, I don't start many RT games at all, because typically in my free time, I have my (young) kids around and I know they can distract me (and I've been booted a time or two for that). You need to play to your environmental conditions.

This is so true.

"So what, I'm supposed to control the weather or my ISP's connectivity?" No, dear child, you are supposed to control your own actions in recognition of a foreseeable consequence of the weather or a demonstrated problem with your connectivity. If your connection has already dropped 3 times in 10 minutes, maybe don't start more real-time games right now?

It offers this switch every time someone tries to expell an opponent. So yes, the players are well aware.

Look at your history! This cannot possibly be just the electricity. This has been going on for 55 different games, over 59 days!

You need to learn how to play turn based. Thousands and thousands of people from France are playing here without going overtime and abandoning games. You can figure this out to do better.
