I'm not sure if you are the game designer, but the "Save game" button does not read that it acts like a checkpoint. It is not something I've ever seen in any other game, so it might be hard to get across in a button size way, but "Save turn progress" would be more accurate. Me and my friends have all been complaining about the "undo" button, but none of us ever thought to use the save game button, because we assumed it had something to do with saving the game and coming back at a later time to play.
Actually the "Undo" button is also named wrong. In every other game on BGA I've played, the "undo" button only goes back 1 step. I have clicked it several times meaning to go back one step, but then it restarts the whole turn. It really should say "restart turn", which I have seen in several other games.
If we can fix some of these small, quality of life pieces, the game will become more accessible to a wider audience and more people will make it through their first game without getting confused, meaning more players for this great game!
Also, the past tense of "Dig" in modern English is "Dug" not "Digged". Digged is *technically* an archaic word that means the same thing, but every native English speaker will notice that the proper modern term is not used, especially since it comes up many times in the course of a game. I'll check in with the translation section of BGA to see if I can get it changed there. But it drives me crazy
