Here's an interesting one:
Game settings that I find more fun. Colonies, and the larger map with higher Global parameter requirements to end the game. And, both players got a fun and strong corporation:

Pluto was not in play, and I could not get any card draws. I managed 13 random card draws from map placement, Lagrange, Tech demo, and one or two other sources, but no blue action card draws. (I played restricted area very late, but I had already planned out my final moves by then, and those card draws were not relevant.)
This game was an example of the card-starved player managing a TR rush (of sorts; it's not easy to TR rush that map) while holding no playable cards much of the time, against an opponent drawing 4+ cards per generation.
I did TEN SP greeneries, marching them along the oceans, and passed with a huge lead, hoping it was enough. It was, but I was still nervous, because of the opponent's engine. I think he scored 40 points after I passed.
Tactics? Luck? Who knows? We both got some fun cards. We've played this map on friendly mode several times with colonies and this might have been my first win; I'm not sure. I don't enjoy rushed games that end in 8 or 9 generations.
So, high-level competitive play almost certainly isn't for me. Based on the opinions in this thread, I doubt Colonies will be included in the next arena season, so I likely won't have any interest in the next arena season.
