You did not understand my question.buffalo_bill wrote: ↑30 July 2025, 23:05Short story:
- I create an account
- I play with my main account in same table or direct competitors
- If my main account doesn't profit I quit
- If my main account doesn't profit I kill random or with purpose my main account wins
- In addition I swear and insult other players in table. Because I can.
- Then I get moderated but who cares 20-30 games with that account
- Accounts get deleted, I use same email create new one
- Repeat forever
I don't know how long you have been in BGA but you would know without asking questions what I refer to.
A 10 second profile check would tell you how long I've been on BGA. My post on the previous thread you linked would have been made after the majority of my tenure for Bang.
As I stated before, if someone is cheating through multiple accounts you can send reports to moderators and get those accounts penalized, as I've successful done on several occasions. You need to make sure you're actually sending the evidence of them cheating in your report, no matter how clear it looks to you. Keep in mind the people reviewing it might not even know how Bang works, there's too many games on BGA for someone to know them all. It looks like someone else sorted that out later and the accounts were taken care of. This is not a process that should lead to the obliteration of your own account.buffalo_bill wrote: ↑30 July 2025, 22:58 You don't see because I have provided message and context to moderators and I do not find any purpose or time to rewritte here everything. What I am saying is that expectations are low giving example that I have proven with facts that the player was cheating.
But so you are aware:
- Game happens and someone drops the game so I do not win in the last move and then few minutes later after red thumb comes up with a different account (Names are similar all Bang! arena knows them) and writes "No points for you".
- Accounts play bang only together, if main is losing second one quits the game.

Conversation continues but I do not have access in my old account anymore as it is deleted due to back and forth with moderators.
Re: Petition for removal of cheaters
So now you're admitting to creating multiple accounts in order to bypass moderation penalties?buffalo_bill wrote: ↑30 July 2025, 22:58 I do not have access in my old account anymore as it is deleted due to back and forth with moderators.

And where did you use the word kingmaking?buffalo_bill wrote: ↑31 July 2025, 10:16And I am saying I did provide evidence and it was clear. But instead I got moderated because I used the word KingMaking while a player was doing KingMaking. Is that clear?Ceaseless wrote: ↑31 July 2025, 01:54You did not understand my question.buffalo_bill wrote: ↑30 July 2025, 23:05

Re: Petition for removal of cheaters
Claiming accounts are cheaters in the forums is not the way to handle it. For one thing, how do we know you're not mistaken? People regularly think they're being cheated over the most ridiculous reasons, just look at the threads on how dice are rigged on BGA. Eventually you just end up with people getting falsely accused of cheating among the legitimate cases. This would be one of the reasons BGA moderates public accusations.
If you think someone is cheating, there is a "report this player" on their profile. From there you can post evidence. For instance, if someone is using multiple accounts to cheat, you would name the accounts, pointing out the games this is happening in. Show how they're using the accounts to cheat, such as if one of them is quitting games the high elo account would lose to protect their rating, give examples of those games. High pairing numbers with noticeable abandon rates helps, but an example showing the abandon is clearly used to rig things is ideal. You could also use examples of the players teaming up, a deputy shooting the sheriff is one of the clearest examples, though blatant enough cases of the roles pretty much being out in the open (deputy and renegade are dead yet one outlaw is actively taking apart the other), etc. Make sure the situation is clear enough even someone who has never played Bang before could realize something absurd is going on.

Re: Petition for removal of cheaters
"You may not know, but others will know I'm right!" That's what the ones giving false accusations think too. It even protects cheaters. Falsely accuse users of cheating, and even if they are cheating it becomes harder to trust the valid accusations of cheating on that same user. It's an excellent justification for the moderators to jump in, they're tired of people throwing around aimless accusations.Waspq wrote: ↑31 July 2025, 18:31 You may not know I am right but others will. Plenty of regular bang players whose judgment I would trust and I would rather red thumb cheaters in advance rather than suffer playing with them. Seemed appropriate to name them given the thread. And yes, I reported them.
