I recently played a game where I was rene. I'm against the vice and the sheriff. Sheriff has one HP, the vice has two HP. The vice gets a beer, making the game unwinnable for me, unless I get the perfect draw to kill the vice.
Now the question here is, why shouldn't I target the one HP sheriff and guarantee their loss? Is it against the rules or good sportmanship? Because that's what I did, and got instant feedback in the chat and couple of red thumbs
I don't mind the red thumbs (each to their own), but to me, playing that beer is a bad play, because it assumes that the renegade hands the win to the opposing team in an unwinnable scenario. IMO the correct play is to either just discard the beer completely, or conceal it within their hand. Two HP vice is suddenly much more appealing target than the one HP sheriff.
