Thanks. Another thing that needs cleaning up is the registered participants section at the bottom, I would second all the posts about it's too many clicks right now, I also think it needs to standardise how many players across it shows, because at the moment it scales to tournament size, but with the invite system this also now displays very poorly, again using same example https://boardgamearena.com/tournament?id=538154.

In registered participants, it displays invites above them (why?), so there's just a massive blank space before the actual registered participants, invites needs to be a separate tab if needed at all, but registered participants should just display the people registered.

Yes, why is invited players first and so empty? Plus why in the world does the list of registered players go sideways instead of vertically? It's much wider than the screen. The "draggable boxes" that both this and the bracket use were poorly implemented.

One thing generally that I think should be looked at is the prominence of tournaments on game pages. Currently, they are way too hidden away, with most tournaments several clicks away. Tournaments imo should be one of the most prominent things on the page, as they should be one of the most popular ways to play, so it doesn't make too much sense to hide them away.

The other issue is I know some people called for change to the old system of what was displayed on the game page, because it led to new, smaller tournaments being hidden away, but I must say I don't like what it's changed to at all. There's a few issues:

#1 It displays tournaments I can't even register for. I actually want to be able to see these tournaments generally that I don't meet the requirements for, because it's interesting and allows me to keep tabs on what's going on (it's also useful for new creators to see what other people are creating), but it seems quite clearly silly if 2 of the 3 tournaments displayed are tournaments I don't meet the requirements for.

#2 Where it now purely just goes off date, it can often not really give a great reflection of tournaments. You will get things like tournaments of a few players displayed, or tournaments which people are actively avoiding because they're obviously not going to work because the settings are ridiculous. The problem then is 2-fold, firstly you are hiding the better tournaments away from players, secondly it will encourage players to sign up to such tournaments who don't know better, and then inevitably be unhappy when it falls apart. This is bad for the tournament scene overall, because if people's impressions of tournaments are they once played a tournament with a ridiculous clock that was never going to work, they will leave with a bad impression of tournaments and reluctance to play again. There needs to be some kind of hotness display on the home page of tournaments, of what people are actually signing up for, display what the player base clearly think are the best tournaments somewhere, even if it's in addition to upcoming.

Suggestion: After a player clicks "Tournament" in the pulldown menu from a given game, go directly to the "See all tournaments for this game" mode instead of whatever screen it now goes to. When I click on "Tournament", it shows a symbol and this text: "Nothing to show here at the moment". I then have to click on "See all tournaments for this game" in order to see the actual tournaments for this game. That may be why tournament participation is down, players click on tournaments expecting to see tournaments, but nothing appears. They then may leave instead of making the extra click to see the actual tournaments. It makes no sense to have a display say there is nothing to see when tournaments actually exist.

After the changes, in the tournament with playing hours, the time per player is no longer reduced, so the tournament ends up lasting twice as long.

The impact of this is that many players are losing games on time when their timer is still positive. How do we identify the developer that can fix https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=209956 (currently 44 upvotes)? I suspect this is a very easy fix (make sure 12hr playing times are reflected in initial game timer).
