So, we're told that even if players are frustrated by the new graphics and want the option of using the old ones, "going back with an option is… not an option." Why? Because "the cards were designed by professional graphic designers" and that "if some of you think you can explain to all of them how to do their job, maybe you should apply."
I can't think of a more arrogant way to respond to players, especially premium members. How about engaging with the concerns? How about consulting users transparently before changing beloved games?
In short: How about treating this as a community?
The issue isn't whether the graphics are attractive. It's whether the game is better for the PLAYERS as a result. If you consulted players widely and transparently before changing them, tell us. If you didn't, pledge to learn and do better.
