So I played quite a bit of hegemony this week and I found some success with WC, MC, and state but never with CC.
It felt like every game I fight a losing battle in voting especially 2A and 3A, and most recently 6C.
I don't know how to juggle between proposing a bill, sell to foreign, build company and what have you.
usually the game goes a few ways:
- always 1C, but 2B, 3A, 4B, 5B and somewhere down the line in round 4 it goes to 6C. Tried to propose more bills but I don't know how to convince MC or state that they should help me a bit, and it ends up with CC at the bottom and the other 3 fight for top spot
- manage to get 3C and 6A but at the cost of 2A and the hatred of WC, to the point where they'll spend a lot more to buy from foreign to the detriment of both of us (we both get last place)
- Tried ignoring policy altogether and just play export import and ended up paying so much tax or lose so many point to demonstration
- Proposing too many bills and ended up not doing anything profitable
so yeah I need some pointer lol, at one point I also tried to oppose 7A and ended up with demonstration, the other I tried supporting 7A and ended up with not enough worker for my company (in early round I only found 1 automation and in 2nd round not enough money from export to buy a new automation)
