Whoops!
That's not ideal ...
poserLX wrote: 03 October 2024, 20:50 And I'd be more interested in learning how to code a confirmation button myself than going to play somewhere else. I just don't know if that's actually feasible for me or not.
If you know how to do it, you should be welcome:

Now that Lost Fleet is being tested and iterated. Can we revisit this?

Already asked and answered in the expansion thread.

tl;dr: Limited ability to undo conversions is being tested. Everything else was actually revisited, as you requested, and evaluated for a couple hours before determining that a full-scaled undo system would require a rewrite that would break compatibility with ongoing games. (Again, full details are in the thread)

Could a solution to the "would break compatibility with ongoing games" be solves by making a second iteration of the Gaia Project on the site, but the second one with the expansion available for it?
Ofter release the old version could then be discontintued.

The main downside would be a complete elo reset as people would need to work up the new version.
Might be too heavy a price, but I do strongly agree an Undo button would be very welcome.

I find the reason given in that bug forum thread that undos are against BGA policy a bit weird.
Literally every game I play here has undo possibilities up until points new information is revealed.

The question has been asked and answered. I'm not rewriting the entire game.
