The best option for now is to message you opponents before the game starts to see if they’ll agree to treat Yellow Tile #6 as if it’s the original (can buy tiles from any depot, but still requiring 2 coins). That way, you get the benefits of the good changes made to Yellow Tiles #15 (3 8==~ 2 points for every different color good sold) and #26 (2 8==~ 3 points for every bonus tile).
There is no good changes in the 2019 édition imo.
Apart from tile 6 which becomes broken obviously, the other changes are also questionable.
Tile 15 was never broken in the first place, it was more powerfull than the other yellow tiles sure, but there was a good reason for that. It was there to reward the 1st player in turn order, thus prioritizing playing boats to get 1st place.
Also tiles from the black market are generally better on average and it is not rare that 2 good yt appear in the market during the same round, thus making it impossible for 1 player to buy them both which can definitly balence things out if needed.
Also if this tile appeared in the very first round, whoever played first would have to sell merch to take it, thus not taking a castle, a mine or a boats which are extremely valuable tiles to get early on, so this very good yellow tile always came at a cost and was fairly balenced.
Now tile 26 on the other hand was pretty weak and here too there was a good reason for that. To keep it simple, it scores you point if you are already winning so there was no need for it to bécome more powerfull. I wouldn't say it was necessarily a bad change but it was definitly not a mandatory one.
Now if we look clother, the impact this new tile 26 had on the game was exactly the opposite of the previous tile 15 from 1st édition. Instead of incentivizing you to play for boats this tile was there to reward undirectly whoever was 2nd in turn order assuming a 4 players game because even if the first player picked that yellow tile first, it meant that hé would not bé picking another valuable tile like a mine or a castle for exemple which would thus bé available for the next player in turn order...
As it stands it is neither a good or a bad change, it is more of a gameplay préférence imo but alongside the yellow tile number 6 change it becomes not so great imo because in order to get yt 6 you need to bé first player but if you are indeed first player, it means that you are more likely to get yt 26 too and thus it can feel pretty unfair when you play against someone who knows what hé is doing with yt 6.
So imo 1st édition is strictly superior to the 2019 édition or the new édition that nerfed yellow tile 6 to the ground.
Things are a little bit différent for the 2 or 3 player games because since we don't get to see all the tiles in those games, adding more good tiles like yt 26 benefit the player who is 1st in turn order because hé becomes more likely to lay his hand on a good tile, thus rewarding him more on average for playing boats. (I am talking about the version where the yt 6 is nerfed obviously, when players agree to enforce the nerf themselves because this was not implemented on BGA unfortunately). (Also I believe tile 15 is still a good tile in the 2019 édition although it has been nerfed).
Because in a 2 players game with 2019 édition, whoever get yt 6 first wins basically.
