The last line must be a typo, it should be 26.31%.
You're right. I've corrected it.

It looks like you got it going a few times, but quit the games after a few turns.

Here's a sample game. Did the rolling dice animation make you think it wasn't using the dice deck?
Ahh yes! I had to quit because the other players refused to abandon at the very start of the game. You're exactly right..I thought the rolling dice meant it didn't work. I was looking to see actual cards with numbers on them. So I clearly misunderstood. Thanks!

In the dice deck variant are "red Die" and a "yellow die" probabilities maintained the same since that is needed in the Cities and Knights expansion for resource cards?

The digital dice are fine. It's people's heads that are not.

I’ve been using dice deck in my games exclusively since it was introduced and I have found it to greatly reduce the variance in the dice rolls. Obviously there is still some variance, but games with 25+ rolls of a certain number are negligible, and the patterning is also noticeably less. IDK how many games the sample size is, nor do I have hard numbers, but it is definitely better. No complaints here.

Sorry, I'm being a bit dim here. I've read the explanation a couple of times, but still don't really understand quite what this "dice deck" is meant to achieve, and therefor don't understand what it's for. Can someone explain in simple terms?

It's supposed to ensure that the distribution of dice results is closer to the theoretical distribution in the short term (within a single game), not just in the long term, by reducing/constraining the randomness of any single dice roll (i.e. dice rolls are no longer independent events).
