I asked why the ratio of premium players to standard players in the top 100 is much more than the general ratio amongst them? Your initial answer was basically "because good players equal premium players". Now you are changing your answer to "Because they have a clear advantage designed by the website to have better ELOs". Can you spot the inconsistency in your answers?
The responses were that there is a correlation. That's not equation.
Correlation doesn't even tell about causation. I think the effect of premium subscription helping to become better players is quite low (although it is easier to find tables with your preferred settings). I think the more relevant part is that people who spend a lot of time here and achieved stuff here are probably more likely the people that think premium cost is money well spent for them because they use the service a lot. Also they're probably more interesting in access to stats than some casual gamer.
I am so happy that you pointed out that correlation is not causation. In this order, then the question should be what makes a correlation stronger than other ones, no? On the one hand, the correlation I pointed out was between being a premium player and being high in ranking. I provided data for this correlation, showing a higher ratio of premium accounts to standard accounts compared to the general ratio of the website. On the other hand, you are referring to causation! You are saying the reason someone becomes premium is that they are serious players. Right? Do we agree so far?
If we agree, then in the same manner, I request data regarding the causation you are referring to. So please enlighten me with data on the percentage of serious players becoming premium. But this is not even the most demanding part. The key feature of your claim is that skill is much more important in playing 7wd than luck or "hidden luck". Of course, proving your claim is very easy if you compare debutant players with much more skilled and experienced ones. Yet, you are claiming that the importance of skill is still high even when it comes to players who are both experienced. So, again, as the second request, do you have any data backing this up? Or are you all along just making assumptions based on your personal experience??
