To be fair, if the person is already ranting, it is already very very not fun for them already (at least in most instances) - so Im not sure who that "but one" could be ^^
maybe person in spec?? :D

Sure it does. I've seen people been so "rude" to their partners I even proposed to call the game off.
It did kill the fun out of the game, and I think for all but one. And I also see names that means a great game WHATEVER the result.

Tichu is still the only game where I block people from time to time.
Not sure there is such a thing as a Tichu community, but if there is, it really has its lows.
I've played Tichu around 2007 ? I do not remember exactly. I played it online on a platform called Brettspiel something, I can't actually spell it. Back then there was no arena mode, nothing. You just played the game. I remember I did not get pissed off from team mates or anything and never wrote anything "bad" in chat. The only problem back then was there were cheaters, people that would play with their friends and be together and pass all the good cards to each other and that is why that game died there.
There are many similar ways to play tichu but BGA has made a really good job identifying such cheaters. Or most of them. There could still be cheaters but it is hard to cheat in arena if the teams are random as they are.

What I am trying to say here is that Arena has made us take it much more serious than the actually game really is. Hence we sometimes get frustrated by missplays that shouldn't be happening. For example a player that doesn't count Aces, it can happen but in arena, just play simple mode till you learn these basics.

I do not even know why I even have to explain myself here. I guess I do because my name came up in that list and I know I have a reputation, a bad one but I truly hope people change, forgive and move on. Sometimes I have thought in the past to quit the website and maybe I am not fit for it's community but friends I made here tell me not to do it and that they enjoy playing with me.

I did play on BSW (BrettSpielWelt) too  !!
It was a jungle... I agree that it is better here, for sure.

I think you are onto something. Arena transforms the game into something with a "stake", in one game. Sure it's better in 1000 points, but still. It's Tichu. It has luck. It has risk_taking. I was just called out by my p for bad play on a GT made while we were near loss. Still not sure where the bad play was :) Maybe I overcalled. Deal with it. I would have discussed it if not for the 'bad play p" or equivalent. There are, well, more "delicate" ways to do that (and probably more efficient ones).

I feel bad. In my prime I would have been definitely on that list.
