Wow, I'd love it if this thread hadn't been brought back up after 5 years. Without noticing the date I started reading it, freaking out over the concept of ELO erosion and wondered when on earth that happened.

Update on this post: I keep losing Elo points when not playing. Does someone knows what really happens, and if this is described somewhere?

There is no ELO loss when not playing.

You can follow your ELO history /game history from your player profile.

Sorry but this is a 2011 post that is totally irrelevant and which can confuse players so I'm closing it now.
