Sounds like it is the same person. How dastardly of him.Mach3Racer wrote: ↑17 September 2020, 18:42 p.s. just like n-faker, they fell silent quickly once asked to identify themselves and their affiliation with BGA.

In all cases, you should only undertake actions that have a plausible effect on what you are hoping to affect. If in a particular case this makes you "like a sheeple" just shrug about that and move on. Many things are "like" many things, what matters is what is actually wise.Mach3Racer wrote: ↑17 September 2020, 23:24 so the solution you propose is shrug and carry on like the sheeples we should be?

I am asking BGA for reimbursement for all premium subscription paid since 15 July 2020, the day I have been effectively been locked out since.
I recommend anyone to cancel their premium (you cannot trust them with your confidential data).
It is simply abysmal customer service, whether for premium or not. Simply not done & unacceptable.

Well the same happened to me a 24h 60% limit karma, because i insult a guy who do unfair teams. 2 of 200 vs 0 and a 30 (was the 0) on toc.

That is true, however, this actually has its effect on the site. There are 800+ views to this thread right now, most of them are duplicates, but I'd assume there are at least 100 different users who have viewed this thread. This leads to developing negative opinions about the moderators of the site, which could have its long-term implications. Or it could be meaningless, who knows.Speusippus wrote: ↑18 September 2020, 14:41 In all cases, you should only undertake actions that have a plausible effect on what you are hoping to affect. I paid in advance. Why would I cancel?Mach3Racer wrote: ↑21 September 2020, 17:57 I am asking BGA for reimbursement for all premium subscription paid since 15 July 2020, the day I have been effectively been locked out since.

I imagine you did the same otherwise you'd simply stop making the payments.
Terms and conditions say that you can be banned and monies will not be returned.

Nobody's reading this thread and coming away with the opinion that the OP is a reasonable person with good points.nmego wrote: ↑22 September 2020, 19:01That is true, however, this actually has its effect on the site. By the chat transcript is seems that he has good cause to complain. Or are you saying that he doesn't?Speusippus wrote: ↑23 September 2020, 03:19 Nobody's reading this thread and coming away with the opinion that the OP is a reasonable person with good points.

I come away with from it and other similar threads with the idea that you need to be super careful in anything that you might say. It's not just that you can't say anything insulting but it's pretty clear that you can't say anything that could possibly be interpreted as being insulting. It seems to me that some people had no intention of being offensive and got moderated anyway.Speusippus wrote: ↑23 September 2020, 03:19Nobody's reading this thread and coming away with the opinion that the OP is a reasonable person with good points.nmego wrote: ↑22 September 2020, 19:01That is true, however, this actually has its effect on the site. That seems to be the policy. You take it or leave it. If you can't abide by it then you are better off finding another site where the policies are more to your liking. I don't see the point in complaining about it endlessly.
I'm also well aware that very many people are disingenuous about what actually happened when giving their version of events. Some people believe that you can do anything you like so long as "good provocation" exists.

One would hope that the increasing amount of complaints would cause changes to be made before it results in the complete erosion of community.Giordano Bruno 1974 wrote: ↑23 September 2020, 07:47 I come away with from it and other similar threads with the idea that you need to be super careful in anything that you might say. If not, then yes, there are other sites out there.
