Once bitten, twice shy.

Decline to leave, holding player hostage.
Lost trust in this player for misfiring 3x.

It will be the last time I talk in that subject if you don't refer to me.

But... Can you just try to understand others instead of assuming what you do/think should be done?

Like, that discard of m5 clued with white, I disagree with it, but I understand your reasonning.
But then, you start to not clue playables, which will just make the game harder (especially if your teammates assume to have the other copy since you didn't clued it), and will make your teammates lost truth of the game or of you because you already gave up the game.

If you already proposed a vote to abandon a game, and your teammate refused, it's his choice. You assume since he voted no, you have the right to stop clueing playable and strop trusting your teammate, but by doing so, you don't respect at all his decision.
That's a selfish reasonning.
Bombing x3 is selfish too, but it's less bad because you already gave up the game (you should still not do that).

Same thing happen when they don't answer you. You assume they must talk. While they are not forced to. Some people just want to have a cool game, without fighting with someone else. Especially since from what I see on that subject (which is maybe false), I suppose you are not really friendly when you do a remark.

Please, change your attitude or stop reporting publiquely people. Or both.

I am not reporting this game as deliberate losing.
Instead, I share this game as a real case.
You may laugh but open your mind.

Replay the game, you will see who incurred a red token
I said nothing at first because player is 508. Chat log below.
You will see this player misfired, accuse me 'seriously' and DENY misfiring.

Began with a greet:
[deleted]
On another note, I came across the following comment.
"If you propose to abandon game, and player refuse, it's his choice."
which implies that it is alright to deny players from leaving a game.

Allow me to make a case.

A rapist holds down rapist's prey.
The prey ask to leave.
Rapist refuse because it's his choice.
The rapist violates and rape the prey.
It maybe 2 minutes rape,
but the girl suffering rape feels like an eternity.

Maybe you think you will never be rape.

Do you buy a ticket to ride a bus/train/ride hailing/taxi/plane?
A hijacker takes over the cockpit.
255 passengers demands to leave.
Hijacker denies because "it's his choice"
Then crash the plane into world trade center building.
Killing over 5,000 lives and spark the invasion of Iraq.
More Iraqi people die and suffer a war. No few US casualties too.

You may look up this event as 9-11 which actually happen.

"Hostage" is an act of
holding a person against their will to fulfill certain condition.

When a child is kidnap,
is it alright for kidnapper to refuse to release the child / hostage?
Is it right for kidnappers to have a 'choice / right to hold hostage?

I do not believe it is right to hold players hostage in a game table.

A player wants to leave the game, no longer wants to cooperate in Hanabi game.
Is it wrong to let that player leave?
If player is uncooperative, can Hanabi still be played as a cooperative game?

The rules of Hanabi and BGA do not state that it is illegal to abandon a game. So the act of holding players hostage is a form of player oppression.

Bully is a form of oppression.

This is the reason I suggest BoardGameArena.com (BGA) to setup an EXIT button for Hanabi players to unilateral one person decision to ABANDON game. All members of that table can be inform who trigger the EXIT and then ask why? and each player on that table can decide to red thumb or not, the player. So there is consequence for anyone who abuse an EXIT button.

Player feeling oppress or mistreated, should be allowed to leave.
Just like at school or work, you can take a sick or compassionate leave.

Other players can not finish a game, is not a calamity.

BGA game server reduces load from serving unhappy game.

A single player abandon game EXIT button is beneficial to BGA.

If you do not like it, then do not linger in hate. Go play a game that can enjoy, but not at the expense of oppressing other players.

I share this thought not to provoke / fight with anyone. It is because I believe it is not right / choice to hold player hostage. If you cannot afford compassion to your players in a cooperative Hanabi game, you can always to play the best premium competitive BoardGameArena.com games for only EUR 4.00 and play them for 30 days.

I am grateful to N_Faker and BGA.

The game I just shared and comments/posts from other members already demonstrate numerous bad apples in Hanabi so can BGA setup an EXIT button for good players to protect themselves from being taken hostage, please?

When asked twice why misfire, rudely ignores questions, then stated teaching how to play.

If you like people to disrespect you, misfire when you did not clue to fire, then by all means, look up this player.

This is just disgusting - do not trivialise rape because you want to chase an imaginary number that means nothing. If you lose at Hanabi, nothing of any real consequence happens, you don't even get a disappointed emperor because of a bad firework display. Comparing it to real, traumatic events is so repulsive that you should not be surprised if many people reading this thread see your posts as justification for never playing you in any game. They might have already done so because of your willingness to blame many other players, yet never entertain the possibility that you have made errors yourself...

Based on the last game I posted,
I gave the player a 'clue-to-keep' but that player fire that card - is this not disrespectful ?
I did not clue the player to fire but that player fire another card - is that not betrayal?
If that player was an apprentice level, I may think that player was learning - but did that master just prove to be 'not clever' ?
If you call it 'clue-to-keep', it is more natural thinking that It may be one of m4, m5 or b5 than unuseful real b1.
In this case, Isn't it graceful to clue 1 to tell it shoud be discarded, before m5 may apear in opponent's sight?

Here is [deleted] again to justify BOMBING a game for everyone to lose.
Making assumption that everything could be multicolour whenever Raal wish.
In a topic of : "Reporting Player Who deliberately Loosing"

Isn't it graceful[deleted]should justify comments with evidence?
Nah, liars will cook up a comment just to smear others.

Lets see how many more members wants to justify hostage taking and deliberately bombing Hanabi game to a lose.

My point being, this is the reason I appeal to BGA to install an EXIT button for Hanabi so that players can leave hostage takers / oppressors.
Locked
