This first avenue of investigation is entirely the responsibility of the person using the custom CSS.
Oh, don't get me wrong I am not implying we absolve those with custom CSS of the responsibility here; but I refer to examples where a table ID is provided and a game logic bug highlighted -- non-visual bugs which will happen regardless of CSS should be able to be submitted regardless.
Additionally the idea in my suggestion is that someone with custom CSS can view and even make a bug report -- but if they make a report their post gets "stamped" with a message stating custom CSS was active. What I mean by "first avenue of investigation" is assessing if the reported issue can exist regardless of custom CSS (i.e. Game logic).
Alternatively if it is a visual bug beign reported, the dev, at their discretion could make a very quick pass could be made to check it -- I'm talking super easy here, only relevant to some bug reports. e.g. If I've submitted a bug report with a table ID stating on turn X a token that's supposed to be aligned with something else is rendered several cm on screen away, the dev could click that, take a look into the table and very quickly see if it's the case for them -- if that were it is then it's proven to not be my custom CSS, and that message of custom CSS means nothing.
Should it be something that could have been the custom CSS, though, and the one of the following could occur to follow-up this message:
- OP adds a note that custom CSS was disabled and issue persists.
- Someone else could chime in and validate the same bug without custom CSS.
- Dev declines the bug report until it's disproved to be custom CSS -- "Hey, Dislexsick, I can see you have custom CSS turned on, this one could be a result of that -- can you check this still happens with that disabled please?"
The last one doesn't preclude in the intervening time someone else commenting it happens for them without custom CSS...
In all cases though everyone now has more information -- the (possible) bug is in the system, others can look at it and discuss it; and this saves us from something I suspect (but nobody can really prove) which is that some bug reports aren't being submitted because it's too much effort to remove the custom CSS to make them.
