Please complain to google translate and be aware that the subtleties of a language may not be mastered if it is not your native language.klkitchens wrote: ↑04 February 2021, 21:54Perhaps you should have said "There is something gamers are not aware of." saying it's something they don't "understand" is just unnecessarily and incorrectly insulting.Lunalol wrote: ↑01 February 2021, 20:56There is something that you gamers have a hard time understanding.Jer3my wrote: ↑01 February 2021, 19:47 This is not at all complaining, because I'm extremely pleased this option is here, but I am slightly puzzled that this was the first GMT to make it here. I suspect some of the lighter ones would be palatable to a larger audience. Some of the mid weight ones would be great but even more popular would probably be the Lunchtime Series. I certainly hope that GMT gives permission for something from the Lunchtime Series to be here. Even having one of those on here might promote sales for the whole Lunchtime Series. Say, Gene, I hope you're listening![]()
If a game is on BGA it's not because you like it, but because an anonymous, volunteer developer had the crazy idea of wasting hours and hours developing a game that he likes.
So don't expect too much that another GMT game will appear quickly on BGA, the investment is too large. (for example, see what a wargame costs on the m.tr.x game website). But if you want to discuss so that will be next, I will let you create a dedicated chat room.
The next ONE, but not for this year, should be, perhaps, next Salvatore Vasta one:
- USE mechanics applied to WWI (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKmTb9p_jwQ). If Sal agrees, let's pray for it.
Unconditional Surrender! World War 2 in Europe: a title as serious as the game, and you can't read this on Frontpage :)

Perhaps, but GMT links for USE are not up to date.klkitchens wrote: ↑04 February 2021, 21:56GMT links are typically kept very current.Lunalol wrote: ↑01 February 2021, 20:58Sorry, but GMT links are all too OLD, living rules are on BGG only.fafa-fr wrote: ↑01 February 2021, 20:55
Because nobody has yet bothered going to GMT website (same for some other games) to find the official links and add them to the game page.
Anyone can do this (not only the developer or BGA team). I've done part of the job :
USE page on GMT website
Anyone can copy the links and add them.
BGG requires you to have an account to download files, so that's NOT a good site a third party should be linking to at all.
Game author uses BGG to post living rules.

This is misguided and off-topic. Please take it elsewhere.youknowwho1887 wrote: ↑01 February 2021, 14:43 How disturbed one can be to make or to play such games?
Take this off the list. Millions of human have died, that was not a game, it was bitter!

so far i am enjoying the game and the youtube tutorials are the bomb; I just wish the random die rolls for weather would not be such a hoser for the norway invasion...... Also not sure if this is intended or not but It should be optional to use Air Support for Ground Troops not manditory......

You can select an option during game setup to have a better weather during Scandinavia 1940 scenario.
Intended not, but any feature is a work for me.
So first goal: have a working game with all rules OK.
Second goal: have a perfect game
Don't hope too much for second goal, I have a life like all of us

btw my 2nd comment disreguard I just figured out that I was not committing my air; what i was supposed to do was Highlight the air that I want to use and therefor since i was not highlighting them the air was never committed. so a lot of my combats were losses due to lack of me not understanding how the online game mechanics work as opposed to say a IRL game, DOH!
