It isn't forbidding you from sending messages.
It appears to be a warning for public red thumbs, which would block you from sending further messages and may affect your reputation.

I do not see the connection to the red thumbs one might give (which might be more or less justifiable).
I reread the text... So what you said was that if you text a player, (s)he might red thumb you (block you) if (s)he finds the message unsolicited or improper in any manner.
If someone asked you something your response cannot be 'unsolicited'; a response cannot be 'unsolicited', that is not what the word means.Ze Monstah wrote: ↑27 April 2021, 14:53 For instance, it makes me think that if i respond to a player asking me something,...
Depends what the response is. If a player asks you: "Can you please send me the link of the X game?", and your response to that question is a Curse (or any other unrelated-to-the-question answer), and not the link... One might think that response is unsolicited. Or that's how I see it.RobertBr wrote: ↑28 April 2021, 07:55If someone asked you something your response cannot be 'unsolicited'; a response cannot be 'unsolicited', that is not what the word means.Ze Monstah wrote: ↑27 April 2021, 14:53 For instance, it makes me think that if i respond to a player asking me something,...
Then you do not understand the word 'unsolicited'. That would be abusive and would get you sanctioned but it is not what the message is warning you about.Ze Monstah wrote: ↑28 April 2021, 10:55Depends what the response is. I already stated that at first reading, I did not see the warning having anything to do with the risk of being red thumbed by the person you talk to.RobertBr wrote: ↑28 April 2021, 12:10Then you do not understand the word 'unsolicited'.
