It isn't forbidding you from sending messages.
It appears to be a warning for public red thumbs, which would block you from sending further messages and may affect your reputation.

I do not see the connection to the red thumbs one might give (which might be more or less justifiable).
So if a player has too many public RTs given (to others or from others to her/him???), that is the warning (s)he gets in PMs?
If that is the case, i see no connection between the way the warning is written and the RTs, and also, I do not see the logic.
That is why I thought a public announcement on this would be swell.
Also, I meant "forbidden", as in... one might feel tense if (s)he had to choose to send a PM, like in the situation i gave as an example.

I reread the text... So what you said was that if you text a player, (s)he might red thumb you (block you) if (s)he finds the message unsolicited or improper in any manner.
And by this warning, BGA is trying to warn the players about the possibility of being RTed because of PMs they send to other players, in order to make them more careful about the way they express themselves in PMs.
OK, this was already known, if the text is understood like that - be careful how you address players, because you might as well be RTed for PMs, as easy as you might be, for game chats or any other stuff.

The text does not say exactly what or who is blocked... "may lead to be blocked" - the message or the player?
Anyway, I think it's rather vague, the phrasing... The way the warning text is written can cause confusion - I first thought that by blocking it meant the site would ban you if the player reports you for the PM, not that the blocking was the same as Red Thumb (from the player itself).

But I understood now what you said about the RT, and I think that is it and I overthought it.

If someone asked you something your response cannot be 'unsolicited'; a response cannot be 'unsolicited', that is not what the word means.

Depends what the response is. If a player asks you: "Can you please send me the link of the X game?", and your response to that question is a Curse (or any other unrelated-to-the-question answer), and not the link... One might think that response is unsolicited. Or that's how I see it.

Then you do not understand the word 'unsolicited'. That would be abusive and would get you sanctioned but it is not what the message is warning you about.

I already stated that at first reading, I did not see the warning having anything to do with the risk of being red thumbed by the person you talk to.

For me, if a player asks me: "how have you been?", and I answer him/her "the rings of Saturn are nice", a curse or whatever, that answer of mine is 1. a response to the question (even if it is not connected to it), 2. unsolicited (because the player asked me another thing, unrelated to my response).
And I could, as a result, be punished, if the player reported me for that answer.
Again, that is what i thought at first (same situation: no previous conversation, but i have to send a game link to a player, in order to make him/her play; that link i send is unsolicited, in my opinion).

If you don't think i understand "unsolicited" well, or if i really don't understand it well, is irrelevant now.

The warning simply warns you about the risk of being red thumbed, i think, as a player from before stated.
I just found the way the warning is written, not clear enough.

About red thumbs pretty easy to get a lot of red thumbs. But that don't mean you merited many red thumbs. As for example u could have a disagreement with a certain player been more long on BGA that you and they got more friends and as we say friends will always stick togheter dispite if others right . The friend will always get support from other friends . So when one give a red thumbs all all rest of his friends will too . I just experienced a situation not long ago in french taro
