yep; basically, TELLING SOMEONE you're going to report them will almost assuredly get you reported!

make a few polite suggestions/requests for different play; perhaps request to abandon the game... then thumbs down, SILENTLY

seems like the best habit since there are trolls on BGA...
Suggestions for different plays can get you in trouble, too. No matter the tone
That is lecturing the other person, yes people have been reported for that and been found guilty
