Okay, so my diplomacy cup thoughts are on hold - they could really do with some modelling - my next planned stop is the third part of the endgame (the endgame of USE divides into three parts, of which the first is probably the most important but is also the most complex). I think, in general, wargamers tend to start their analysis of games in the wrong place. So the early videos were fairly deep dives into tactical issues - there are certainly more of those to cover, of which the diplomacy cup is one but defensive lines is another - and I would like to do something now on the kind of big picture, and that means starting with the endgame (if you don't know what a winning position looks like you cannot play to get one) and then looking at the opening, and how those two relate. USE has a very limited number of openings (basically eight)...
... but as my thoughts are not quite fully formed on those here is a short video about something you absolutely should not do, and a little bit on attack sequencing (which is a tactical thing that could sustain a lot of attention), to mark time until the endgame/opening are ready.

A long one this time. I actually recorded my thoughts nearly a month ago but did not have time to edit and upload until earlier today.

So, a change without a new video (well, technically there is a new video giving an introduction to USE tactics). I noticed people kept trying to subscribe to the videos though I had made it clear that was not possible (and it must have been very confusing given the difference in content with the actual channel). So I've created a separate channel and begun moving the videos there https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFiBpy ... DarHFypiTQ
At the moment I've moved all of the videos on tactics and strategy but not the play-throughs, which means I was able to create a playlist with all of those videos https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... UDTwOes1U5

Ooops, forgot to update this thread. The latest video, another big one is available on the new channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpSFcjEicWY&t=7s

This one I think is probably much needed as it covers all four of the openings and explains their main features. Unsurprisingly since you have to play quite a few games and do some potentially costly experiments most players are not in experience familiar with the range of opening options the Axis have.
