Nor did I say that it is.
I can see why some people don't like the lips but I can't see why the turban or lack of teeth get a mention.

No, I genuinely don't get your point.

I can understand why some people don't like the lips but aside from that I cannot see anything in the avatar that looks like a racial caricature.

Not having teeth or wearing a turban aren't racial stereotypes of black people.

The fact that the avatar is unattractive (point of view) is neither here not there. Are only attractive black people acceptable?
