Hello,

We are playing randomized milestone/awards and everybody must agree before starting the normal game (also nobody see his Corporation and other cards). If someone don t agree, then we draw new. That should be to program easily and doesn t take much gaming time.

Have fun and good cards!

This sounds like a lot of work to me. And could become a timer issue if people keep rejecting the random ones chosen.

Sounds like a nightmare on a platform like this.

My opinion is this: Don't add this expansion or, if you do, make it so the table creator either chooses random or deliberately sets the 3 milestones and 3 awards as they wish.

It's already annoying enough when someone plays Ecology experts and claims a milestone on Generation 1. With randomization, there is at least one other that is similar and could possibly also be claimed on gen 1.
Starting map alreay has such an issue : 3 forests + 3 cities to become the guy with the most tiles on the map... Yet it is the most used map...

Cities and greeneries cost time and/or money to build though. I was thinking of "overlap" in terms of having multiple milestones that can essentially achieved by playing one or two cards and claimed very early, gen 1 or 2.

Yes, greeneries and cities have some overlap with the Landlord milestone but are not a guarantee. If we‘re having e.g. “5 Earth tags” as a milestone and “most Earth tags” as an award—that‘s more of a problem, as Earth tags are bound to cards and one results in the other most of the time.
