Yeah, i think it can explain the big gap. Motivation to pay for premium (or contribute to get it for free) is that much higher on very active and skilled players. You don't buy premium when you're just checking out the platform or just play every now and then. and I can imagine there must be millions of such registered users.

I was talking about top elo - and yes you can choose the games you play ...

I asked why the ratio of premium players to standard players in the top 100 is much more than the general ratio amongst them? Your initial answer was basically "because good players equal premium players". Now you are changing your answer to "Because they have a clear advantage designed by the website to have better ELOs". Can you spot the inconsistency in your answers?
