At table https://boardgamearena.com/10/wingspan?table=385552818 on the second to last turn (round 4, 4/5), I made a simple error in picking the wrong item out of the feeder, wanted to undo and pick a different one ... and there was no way to do it. It was on the Anna's hummingbird, and it seems to be a bug, so I filed this bug: https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=90661
Has anyone else encountered this?
I was activating the forest, and reached my hummingbird. I chose to let the next player draw first, so that I would be the last to draw food. When it came to my turn to draw food, there was only one die in the feeder, so I rerolled, and got a full feeder. Looked at my options, with the goal of playing three wetland birds on the final turn: I had a great egret and great blue heron, both of which let you play another wetland bird, so my goal was to play three wetland birds on the final turn and complete the "wetland scientist" goal for 7 points. With the yellow-rumped warbler, I could draw the trumpeter swan that was there on the tray. In the feeder were two grains, and I just needed one grain to have enough food to play all three of those birds.
Instead, I mistakenly picked the fish, because I momentarily forgot which food I didn't have enough of. I needed several fish, but I actually had enough fish, it was grain I needed one more of. When I realized this, it was too late - there was no undo option!
Normally when you've just picked something from the feeder and haven't re-rolled since you did that, you have a "reset food" or "undo" option of some sort, and you can pick another food. For some reason, this didn't happen, and I wonder if it is always missing when using the hummingbird.
Of course I understand that if I rerolled after I picked the wrong food, or if I let the next player pick their food, that would be too late. But I was the last player on the hummingbird, and I rerolled _before_ I picked a food. It should have let me correct my mistake.
