Hi.
I will preface this with: my first language is not english.
Since I started using BA not too long ago I've seen people say "gg"/"good game" after a game is over. This I assumed was a general greating, a little like "thanks for playing" or something.
I just finsihed a game of Wingspan and said this in chat while the points were being counted. One person seemed angry/offended/irritated at me for doing so since I was in the lead before the points were calculated (I did not win in the end). Saying it might not have been a good game for everyone, the people coming in 4th and 5th i.e. This I understand but gloating was not my intention. I just wanted to be friendly and say hi to everyone who had played and I thought "gg" was the way.
Have I completely missunderstood this greating? Thankful for help
