Change settings after singup

My BGA friend was able to change game duration from 7 days to 15 days after signing up themselves.

I thought that settings were locked after 1 person signs up including the host. Is this a new change? Just a heads up so the tournament nerds can test it out and report back.

I was able to change it after registering for this one: https://boardgamearena.com/tournament?id=498869

Join that one (I sent an invite) to see if I can change it after someone else joins, or if the option is only available when just the tournament host has registered.

After BananaHarambe joined, I got the standard message:

You cannot change the configuration of this Tournament because at least one player has already registered.

So it seems like a small quality of life tweak so that tournament hosts don't have to unregister just fiddle with the settings.

To be thorough, I unregistered leaving just BananaHarambe to see if it's really checking for the tournament host when there's just one person registered. I was still not able to change the settings.

It's been like that for years. Setting-editing locks only if someone other than the host has registered.
