I agree, I would go further and like to see configurable games with a choice of Civilasations from a set pool.

With the last player to pick getting to be the starting player. As the difference in strength between Civilisations is vast, and some combinations are just more fun and dramatic than others.

For the different rulesets are the exact rules around using AI singularity again with academic research or lithium ion battery written anywhere?

As I believe it is possible to not move to a new track and repeat AI Singularity, but it seems to not happen very often.
