Re: is "-orama" legal for pan?

While it may be a “word” it is truly a suffix and is defined as such. Using the hyphen absolutely defines it as a suffix. The clues given should be one word.

Re: Lack of coolness and friendliness

I love what Romain said and agree with it. I think that I find the more experienced players just appreciate you acknowledging the mistake, this lets them know that you know your error and you’re skilled but just made one f those common errors . Otherwise, those great players who were so nice are at ...

Re: why do moderators allow harassment in this game?

I think that the word harassment needs to be better defined. Requesting that someone try a different strategy or learn how to play with the BGA conventions is not harassment. Insulting someone and intentionally playing poorly because someone made a mistake, is harassment. But overall, I agree with T...

Re: looking for XP collecting turn based crew

YMMV, but the number of moderation reports and bug reports says otherwise. [/quote] The sample size of those submitting bug reports and moderation reports is very limited. To find what the general population wants, you’d need to sample those players not in the forum. Regardless, I agree that a conti...

Re: looking for XP collecting turn based crew

A bloated elo will lead to frustration for you and your future teammates. Many players with the 300+ game sat through hours of learning from many players and ultimately learning defined conventions. If you’re gaining that elo with fellow beginners you will lack the wisdom gained by playing with many...

Re: Is a comm needed?

Yes, I think that Wreckage adequately replied to all of your thoughts and examples. The only thing I was addressing was your efficiency comment.

Re: Is a comm needed?

@wreckage So let's say it's early rounds and there are 4 tasks. We avoid the the task of the single 9 til the end and complete the other 3. Do we still not com if the single 9 is not dropped and if player is winning in the same suit lower rank? I believe in efficiency. My counter question would be....

Re: Is a comm needed?

[copied from Tt doc txt] but if we analyze closely of the situation, I suggest to adjust that to "an immediately responding comm is not needed and g5 should not be led right away" if green has not been played yet, a solo g9 comm means 3 players share 8 greens, with this in mind odds of a v...

Re: Suggestions to improve point allocation

I've been thinking about this point a lot lately. I love Hanabi, but I have walked away playing it on BGA because most people I met are too perfectionist and not wanting to lose points, and wants to start dictating how other people played the game to the point it is no longer fun. My suggestion: Le...
