Re: Cards Tierlist for 2 players (with 2 expansions)

As another freak, I go in:: I generally agree. But also, I don't see how Chamois are better that Martens. For me Parasol Mushrooms, if not as good as the Broken Mushrooms, is very good, I would say an S. And wow, then there's a lot of disorder, that I already feel tired to continue explaining :D . M...

Re: Is There Consistency In Who Wins Forrest Shuffle Arena Competitions?

The question is tricky. Since you're not forced to play against players of your level, ELO can be easily manipulated choosing who are you playing against. You can have skill to beat only players under 300 ELO with a 100% rate, let's say, and playing a lot will grant you a very big amount of ELO, onl...

Records - Higher values

Hey! Just curious to see the limits of the game, let's list the higher value, the records we have achieved in some areas of the game, with the link to the table also! Score: 209 https://boardgamearena.com/table?table=639778530 Trade routes: 78 points https://boardgamearena.com/table?table=640616109 ...

Strategies

And it's possible to reach around 80% of victories for experienced players, which is not something that happens around luck games. So I would like to discuss and collect here some strategies for ...

Re: Highest Score?

This thread is meaningless if you don't post the score AND the turns of the game. As I said here, highest score doesn't mean anything if you don't take also into account the tempo/speed of the game, counting the turns. For that, I opened another challenge here: https://boardgamearena.com/forum/view...

Re: “Theoretically perfect game” challenge

Ciao Le Penseur! I explain you. The initial challenge was this one: [...] "the highest scoring run possible, in the shortest amount of time. Build speed would be the biggest constraint. Deduct 3 points for every turn spent. [...] My modification just was eliminating the rule of deducting 3 poin...

"Theoretically perfect game" challenge - Basic + Alpine

 Inspired by the same topic in the game Gizmos: https://boardgamearena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=34235 Let's set up the rules: - It's made for the Basic cards + the Alpine expansion, which is the most interesting way to play this game to me. - We kill randomness. So you can choose which cards...
