Why I'm not continuing my premium membership

The system BGA uses to punish people for taking too long with their turns - and literally stopping them playing games even whilst they're paying for the service - is too harsh and badly designed. In particular * there's still no mechanism to go to games in order of having the least time left. If you...

Re: "time out" system utterly broken

How do we get the things above looked at and considered? Specifically (a) implement an option to have the next game when you're clicking through them be the one where you've got the *least* remaining time, or where you had your last term the longest ago; (b) let people set the region for games (c) m...

Why can't players always play with their preferred colour?

We're all playing on our own computers. If someone's used to playing green - why can't their own computer always show them playing Green? Literally every player could have their colour being green ON THEIR SCREEN, and just have the other players shown TO THEM as different colours. It doesn't matter ...

Re: "time out" system utterly broken

the utterly unbalanced and over the top penalties for timeouts Just to put this a bit into perspective: On all other turn based gaming platforms I know you lose immediately when your time is up, without any of your opponents having to do anything. Also I have played nearly 300 games here now and no...

Re: "time out" system utterly broken

BTW what do we do about the others? - being able to set the "next game" shown to being the one with the least time remaining, or the one where you had the turn LEAST recently. At the moment if you have games about to time out it keeps showing you the ones where the other player played more...

Re: "time out" system utterly broken

I've already got it set to the slowest two time options only, and it says the "hours" option is only for fast games. Oh, I see what you're saying is it's a tournament game and they can set them to whatever hours they like and even if you've set it to "one move in 24 hours" and sp...

"time out" system utterly broken

BGA desperately requires some amendment to its ludicrously harsh and unreasonable system of letting people be kicked for being "out of time" and then, to make it worse, penalising with heavy "karma" hits that are painful to recover from. 1. I'm in Australia. I set Arena to "...

Re: Do players really prefer it with the "action rule" to without?

Interesting. I agree that the first two levels of limited rules aren't all that interesting, but I really feel the third - scoring between hands, so there is a tactical decision of when to fold; and the draw rule when you play a rule with a higher number than the cards in your palette, which gives y...

Do players really prefer it with the "action rule" to without?

Curious - since the arena mode has the "action rule" turned on - if that's generally a preferred way to play? I think Red7 shines with the advanced mode and scoring, where there are interesting choices about when to fold and when to sacrifice growing your palette to try to expand your opti...

Tools needs an undo option

if you intend to return a 3 and get 3 "1"s, but you get overexcited and select the 3 before it's gone through the "return three cards" option, which you wished to skip, then you're forced to keep giving up those cards, with potentially horrible effects. That would never happen in...
