Re: Player rankings , what is needed for each level ? Apprentice , Average, Good Expert etc.

0 games = beginner 1 to 100 wins! = apprentice It counts the wins, not ELO. I saw people with over 200 games still being apprentice, because they didn’t have 100 wins to be average. So playing with people who don’t understand the game are hindering players to even get to a start where you can play w...

Re: Ranking up fast in cooperative games

Exactly in at least both of the The Crew Games and in the Gang it’s extremes harmful and that’s why there is so much toxicity. It‘s not ok, that people can’t see how experienced players are. And in the Crew this +1 doesn’t make sense at all. Because you can play one easy mission for 30 Seconds and g...

Re: This game brings out the worst in some people.

The same way being an Apprentice can mean that you've won the game once. While on this topic, I think I'd have a bit more patience with the person who only won 1 or 2 games instead of 99, something that doesn't seems to be the norm here. And this mentality is specifically what I'm against. How do y...

Re: Ranking up fast in cooperative games

But cooperative games are very different from competitive ones. For one thing, competitive games have real opponents, ones that actually think, where cooperative games don't. This distinction alone is the cause of one of the boosting issues in cooperative games (everyone agreeing to cancel losing g...

Re: Ranking up fast in cooperative games

I want to know why you can select to play a whole campaign but then stop at 1 round and not have it count as a loss. My suggestion would be for settings that lock that sort of thing in "play to X", or if you want it to be flexible, have that as an option to "players vote to continue ...

Re: Ranking up fast in cooperative games

That's so true. I think it's really bad that there are such huuuuge jumps in the rating. 1 game = beginner, 200+ games = apprentice, and only after that someone is at least an average player. Many cooperative games need (!) skills to make it really fun at all. The Crew and The Gang are among them. T...

Re: someone is cheating - what now?

I don't understand, why don't you tell what's the game in the object? I get it if you talk about chess but, besides that, how is it possible to have a "pogram" that suggests the player what move/action/card to make/play? The only aspect where I see it's possible to cheat is on memo...

Ranking up fast in cooperative games

What do you think of players, who play only to rank up? I saw this in multiple games, but I think it’s problematic in cooperative games like The Crew. Elo should be given for any mission completed, not every game. But it’s not. That’s why people play only the easiest missions and end the game after ...

Re: Please use the 'always agree' distress beacon option sparingly.

As the person who wants to distress knows best why, they should also know in which direction it works best right? Only when you think, that another person needs a card from you, but not if you need a card to even complete the task. For example, you have to win a card with a 7, but don’t have one. T...

Re: Please use the 'always agree' distress beacon option sparingly.

They can set it up automatically, but if you click that you need help, then it’s not automatic anymore. They need to go in the game and click for themselves. You can type in the chat, that you don’t know the directions, if they don’t understand the problem.
