i think so too. that this does not work. especialy because i cant see how i can start an arena game from that screen.JDansp wrote: ↑30 July 2023, 20:32I tried this a while back, but it doesn't seem to work?Ez0ah wrote: ↑28 July 2023, 10:01Well there is nothing you can do to restrict the ELO of your opponents in arena. That’s a core principle behind it.Wrathberry wrote: ↑27 July 2023, 20:13 how can it be that there seem to be absolutly no players on my elo, since i never nearly never play against them? i would have absolutly not problem with the game searching a few seconds longer for opponents, and not pairing me constantly vs people who are ranked so much higher than me.
However, there are ways to play with people from the same league as you. You have to use the old lobby. Then, before starting a search for an arena table, you can change the search settings with the cog wheel icon. One of the advanced options will let you restrict if you want to play with players from leagues away from yours. You’ll wait longer, sure, but if that’s not an issue for you, it’s a better experience.
edit: im obviously too bad to compete with the top 100 ark nova players. but since arena has no matchmaking at all, i keep playing them. and i keep losing to them.
this is so frustrating, that i guess i just played my last arena game, and will go back to normal games... at least there i can win.
i NEVER heared of any ranking system at all, which uses absolutly no matchmaking btw. i really never in not a single game i ever played. i would like to play the competetive mode and look how high i can climb, but there is no way to climb at all, if you permanently play players 300 elo and 3 leagues above you.....
just imagine in chess, someone with the starting elo instantly plays grandmaster players. yeah, what a great expirience for them....
