It makes sense to make an elite tournament with a rating of 500 and above.

Имеет смысл сделать элитный турнир с рейтингом 500 и выше.

I've participated in tournaments before with a lot of intermediate and above riders and had a lot of fun, so I think this will be another exciting event, but I don't think there will be many participants at expert level or above.

I feel frustrated that I can't make my dream come true, but I would like to take part in tournaments where beginners, intermediate and advanced players can cooperate with each other, rather than competing directly against each other.

If the site administration organizes a tournament with a high status and a high prize, then many may want to participate.

Such a competition is more difficult to organize than just an elite tournament.

What is the main disadvantage of the Arena? The optimal tournament strategy is to score points with weak players and avoid meeting strong players. It is advisable to meet with those who have already scored a lot of points, avoiding strong players who have not scored enough points. In other words, avoid large fish, chasing small fish, preferably fatty ones.

All this is funny, but the strongest players will not meet under such a system.

Most of them are 4-stone tournaments, with beginners and a few intermediate players. I understand that a tournament with beginners, intermediates and advanced players all mixed together is not very interesting for people of any level.

A tournament with 4 stones is a road to nowhere, you can’t learn to play Kalakh-4, this is a defective version of Kalakh. You need to study on Kalakh-6.
This might be true from a competitive point of view... However today almost a half of the +400'000 matches registered on BGA have been played with the 4 stones variation, so if we, as a community want to expand our playerbase, we just have to create events and tournaments to catch people's attention.

For new players kalah-5 or 6 can be hard to understand and as many other abstract games, it's either love or hate since the first matches, so it's important to make their experience as enjoyable as possible. In order to do this it might be a good idea to make them understand the basic game mechanics in a simpler version of the game (kalah-4 or even 3) just to make sure that in the first real games, with 5 or 6 stones at least they will know what are they doing

Tournaments are of course a great way to get some people's attention and it should be better to start with tournaments with all the stones setups (also 4) for the reasons i just wrote in the previous post...
After many new players start to really understand the game, we should progressively stop 4 stones tournaments and encourage them to try other setups. By doing this we can do something to revive the community that's dying mainly because of the ELO changes that made the ranking system less stimulating and slower.

The only key to expand the community with friendly matches is constancy

Sometimes I feel like BGA is getting boring: we need something more than arena and normal games, if someone with a premium account is going to create some tournaments i'll be happy to join, but right now there's nothing exciting to do: there are only a few really active players.

Another interesting thing that can easily be made is to create a group and organize friendly tournaments (with no elo variations) or friendly matches guided with text chat by strong players during some days of the week.
Not only this will keep the community active but it will help weaker players (like me  ) to improve their skills and create a new competition

please tell me if I made some errors my english is pretty basic :)

It is easy to go from Kalakh 6 to Kalakh 4, but from Kalakh 4 to Kalakh 6 it is extremely difficult. But the game itself in Kalah 4 is poor, everything depends on the first move.
