How would anybody know to actually do that? (I mean, if they weren't reading this forum and hadn't seen your post.)

How do we find/know the ID number for a specific game? I loaded the game page for a specific game and did not see this information.
You will find the "game=ID#" in the end of the URL of your statistics for this game.

And why does that warrant an "eye roll" emoji?

We're just supposed to know that? Why hide that information in the personal statistics page, which some people never even use or look at?

okay, I looked up the game number for a game I play, and your link STILL does not work.

Would you care to rescind your eye roll emoji ?????

I have made a mistake. The URL given works only if you are a guru for this game.
I have made a try for one of your games and I have the "unauthorized" error.
I suppose it is why this type of URL is not shown somewhere in BGA.

Why to not use this emoji ?

Because the emoji is passive/aggressive and/or rude? Because it implies that you think the other person is being foolish or silly, or lacking comprehension? Because in this case, you were the one making the mistake and posting a useless link?

The first 3 lines of this post literally answer the question of why not to use the eye roll emoji.

(I should use one here myself, but I won't).

(There is still time for you to delete the eyeroll emoji and/or the useless link)

This link is usefull if you are a guru. You will not have to look in all your notifications to find an old one with the link.
That if you know the game_ID and are a guru of this game.

Fair enough, though I would add clarification to your post alerting people that it will only work for games in which the person is also a guru.

The eye roll emoji has no justification.

My favorite game, "Earth", lists 161 Gurus. I thought there were only supposed to be 100.
You don't lose guru status immediately for not being in the top 100 in games played in last 30 days, that's why there's more than 100. I think developers are also automatically gurus. Heat has more than 200 gurus, the number of gurus likely relates to how high the throughput of gurus is.

It's still confusing. It's not clear how many potential voters there are at any given time. The voting process itself is weird. It's unclear how and when people become gurus.

I never should have been an Earth Guru in the first place unless friendly games were counted. And even if I do not lose my guru status immediately, I should have lost it by now. I barely play. And I've never played high volume in any 30-day or 3-month period.
