As far as ergonomics, I'd say Passerine Specialist and Large Bird Specialist, having to hover over each card to read the tiny wingspan info.

A great thing about 2-player is conceding after your very last move for no reason than pure spite. Bonus points if you time it right before their last click.

Speed can be increased now that there's one more player to think/act ahead of you. Max speed feels way longer than on two players due to this, all day to think.

That should help with the longer game time complaints.

I just experienced an egregious example where a player 'skipped' me immediately on my final turn of the final table of a tournament. They probably specifically chose me to skip, as the player right before me was much further in the red yet they waited to skip me as soon as that other player finished...
