Re: SUMMER OF GAMES 2026: Games released

I would prefer BGA to spend more time on fixing bugs in stead of releasing so many new games. Isn't all of the game development and maintenance done by volunteers, not by BGA itself? I don't disagree that there a handful of games with corner case bugs that are irksome, but the vast majority haven't...

Re: Some notes on reputation effects

I later learned that due to my reputation drop, I'd been kicked out of a number of tournaments--I guess effectively abandoning additional games that were halfway through, exactly what I'd been trying to avoid. The way it's supposed to work is, when your reputation falls below a certain threshold yo...

Re: What games have you played on BGA that you then purchased?

Purchased so far: Bonsai Superstore3000 Tobago Rauha Colt Express Castles of Mad King Ludwig Technically I already owned the last two, but had never opened them. They've both hit the table, now. Others on my buy list due to BGA: Flowers Sagani Pergola Fleet Innovation Ink Applejack Junk Drawer Bower...

Some notes on reputation effects

This isn't a complaint and I'm going to try my best not to make it sound like one. I got myself into the mess and am willing to take the reprecussions. I recently started a number of "heavy" just before life interfered at my time to play on BGA plummeted. I started by using a time joker to...

Does turn-based "work"?

Played this a week or two ago, so there may have been changes since. It was a turn-based game, but as we couldn't find a way to replay other player's turns, there was really no way to know how the towers had moved. Without that, there's no memory element to tracking your wizards, and it just turns i...

Re: Odds of each roll outcome?

Was curious, so just rolled 480 Carcassonne meeples and got: Feet: 7.7% Arm & foot: 5.8% Head & Arm: 16.3% Flat: 70.2% So, for Quetzal, that would be: Black: 35.1% White: 35.1% Side: 22.1% Upright: 7.7% Don't feel like doing the stats to see if that supports the 40-15-5 but seems pretty clos...

Rating tutorials without completing them?

Is there a way to rate a tutorial without completing it? Most of the tutorials I've done have been outstanding, but every so often there's one that's so hard to follow I've given up part way through to just read the rules--a couple seemed to be impossible to complete, as I couldn't find the action t...

Self-imposed table limit option?

Odd request and I suspect I know the answer. Is there any way to add a limit or cap on the number of turn based tables I can have open? I'm non-premium and used to have a cap, but guess I've played enough games that it went away. I looked through the profile settings and didn't see the option, but m...

Curious about one vs. two market rows

Hello! The couple of times I've played this irl there have been two market rows, and you've had to "spend" two palettes for each column you wanted to skip when buying a card. Just curious why there's only one row on BGA. I don't own the game, so it just well be an expansion/optional variant?
